Today’s gold standard, PGT allows for almost 98% accuracy in sex selection. Following IVF, a small biopsy is taken from the future placenta of each embryo and sent for genetic analysis. Only embryos of the desired sex—and those that are chromosomally healthy—are considered for transfer, reducing the risk of genetic disease and improving pregnancy outcomes.
Sperm Sorting:
This cutting-edge technology separates sperm carrying X (female) or Y (male) chromosomes before insemination or IVF. Sperm sorting enriches sperm samples for the desired gender, with clinical pregnancy rates comparable to standard fertility treatments. Sperm sorting is especially useful for couples pursuing less invasive treatments or seeking to optimize their chances for a particular gender from the start. This procedure involves selecting the sperm according to their weight since Y chromosomes containing sperms are lighter than X chromosome sperms and could be concentrated according to their weight.
